Most of you who read this site have plenty of technical skill, but it might not be put to good use. Perhaps you’re one of many victims of the current economy, or maybe you’re just stuck working for an MBA who can’t tell a website from a wristwatch. If you’re jobless, or just looking for something better, we’ve put together a new place for you to find and post IT jobs – free and no registration required! There are categories for almost any type of IT related job, so browsing for something good is quick and easy.
Current categories include:
- Systems Administration
We welcome full time, part time, and freelance jobs.
All jobs are categorized, and you can browse the categories as you see fit. Once you’ve found something that interests you, just click Apply and attach your resume. That’s it.
You’ll notice that you never have to register or log in. Each application is its independent, and we make no attempt to track users or mine information. Apply to whatever jobs you wish, as often as you wish.
RSS feeds are provided for the complete site as well as for indivudual categories. If you only want to subscribe to, say, Developer jobs, no problem.
The biggest advantage for employers posting on the MakeTechEasier job board is that they have immediate access to the thousands of MakeTechEasier readers. This reader base is comprised mainly of technically proficient people who enjoy improving their skills. That’s exactly the type of person ideal to many IT firms.
Posting a new job opening is just as easy as applying to one. No login or registration is required, simply click the Post New Job button and enter your information.
You may later go back to any jobs you’ve posted if you wish to edit them. Please note however that since we do not follow a login-based design, our system can only remember which jobs you’ve posted based on browser cookies. If you clear those cookies, you’ll need to contact us to edit your posting.
While all job posts and applications are free to all users, some employers may want to get as much exposure as they can for their opening. For this, we provide the Spotlight system.
Once you’ve posted a job, you’ll have the option to purchase a Spotlight for that post. All job posts go out on the Job Board feed, but only Spotlight posts are also sent out on the main MakeTechEasier site feed. This means that your posting will be presented to far more readers than it otherwise would be.
Additionally, Spotlight posts are highlighted on the Job Board main page. Every visitor to the site sees the Spotlight section first and most prominently when they arrive.
