Whether it’s for work, school, or entertainment, you need and deserve a great computer monitor. The AUZAI 24-Inch Monitor aims to be the monitor you’ve been searching for. From serving as a second screen for your laptop to replacing your old monitor, this AUZAI monitor is designed to help you enjoy your screen time more. How well does it perform? I had the opportunity to test it out for myself.
Overview of Features
The AUZAI 24-Inch Monitor is sleek and looks great on any desktop, while optimizing your viewing experience. The 24-inch screen serves as an ideal replacement for smaller laptop screens so that you’re not left squinting or zooming in to see everything.
Since I spend hours every day working at a computer, I need a computer monitor that’s designed to help reduce eye strain. The AUZAI monitor features an LED-backlit and anti-glare screen. The 1080p monitor also reduces flickering to further reduce the strain on your eyes. It also reduces harmful blue light, meaning you may actually fall asleep better after working late.
Enjoy a much smoother picture without blurring, thanks to this 75 Hz monitor. The 1080p FHD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution provides a clear, crisp video experience.
A PC monitor should be widely compatible, and the AUZAI monitor not only offers an HDMI connection but a VGA port too. This makes it much easier to connect it to your desktop, laptop, or even a portable monitor.
Something I personally appreciated is the ability to tilt the monitor without dealing with glare. Tilt it forward by up to 25 degrees or backward up to 35 degrees. The 178-degree panoramic display looks great at any angle and features an extremely narrow bezel on three sides for a more seamless look.
In the Box
Everything’s packaged securely with the AUZAI 24-Inch Monitor. Everything you need to get started is included, unless you need a VGA cable.
The AUZAI monitor stand, power cable, and an HDMI cable are all included. Surprisingly, it’s not a short cable like I’ve experienced with some monitors, so this will work well for a desktop or even presentation-style setup.
Of course, there’s also the monitor itself, which is packaged away from the other components to avoid any scratches.
AUZAI Monitor Setup
The AUZAI 24-Inch Monitor setup process is as straightforward as it gets. I glanced at the instructions to be sure I wasn’t missing anything, but the monitor’s ready to use in just a few minutes.
All you have to do is put the stand together. As you push the stand into the base, you’ll hear it click into place. If you’re having trouble, push the tab under the base to the side just a little to make it easier to line everything up.
Then you need to slide the monitor onto the stand. I highly recommend getting someone to help you with this. Otherwise, it’s a bit tedious trying to get the PC monitor lined up perfectly. It can be done, but I’ll admit it’s much easier with a second person.
There’s a yellow arrow on the back of the monitor to show you exactly where to insert the stand. It’ll click into place when it’s secure. Just press the yellow arrow to release the monitor if you need to pull it off the stand. You can also attach the monitor to a wall mount, which isn’t included.
The instruction manual recommends connecting the monitor to your computer while both devices are powered off. You’ll need a free outlet to plug in the AUZAI monitor’s adapter.
Connect the HDMI or VGA cable between your monitor and the device you’re using it with. Then, attach the power adapter and plug it in. Finally, turn on your computer or other device. All the ports are easy to access in the back of the monitor.
I had no issues with my computer immediately recognizing the monitor. It was easy to extend my current screen, use the AUZAI monitor as a second screen, and even use it as a complete screen replacement.
The menu buttons are located on the back edge within easy reach. Since the monitor isn’t a touch screen, you’ll need to use these to access the menu, scroll through options, and adjust settings.
There is a variety of menu options to scroll through. The buttons are a bit stiff, but once you get used to them, they’re easy to use.
A Look at Performance
I was anxious to see if the anti-glare really worked. Usually, monitors that promise this still have issues. However, as soon as my laptop screen popped up, I noticed zero glare. In fact, it was a noticeable difference in the glare on my laptop and the AUZAI 24-Inch Monitor.
I tested the monitor with my usual work files and sites with zero issues. After a full day of writing, I didn’t have the typical tired eyes and light headache I get when working on my laptop for too long without taking a break like I should.
Of course, I also had to test it out by watching YouTube, a movie I had on my laptop, and an online game. I didn’t have any blurring or refresh rate issues at all. In fact, the picture quality looked as great as my TV.
I started my review with the monitor in its upright position. I also wanted to test how well the PC monitor looked tilted. It doesn’t take much pressure to tilt the computer monitor, but it definitely doesn’t move unless you move it.
The base itself has rubber grips to prevent sliding. While you can still easily knock the monitor over since it’s top-heavy, it’s not going to slide around on a slick desk.
I thoroughly enjoyed reviewing the AUZAI 24-Inch Monitor. It was easy to set up, the picture looked amazing, and it actually delivered on its promises of anti-glare, reduced flickering, and reduced blue light-induced eye strain.
While I wish the monitor had speakers built in, I can definitely live without those and use a Bluetooth speaker instead. Otherwise, it’s a great addition to any home or business office.
You can try the AUZAI 24-Inch Monitor yourself for just $149.99.
