No one really wants to vacuum daily, but the AOSO 2000Pa Robot Vacuum doesn’t mind taking this tiresome chore off your hands. I recently got the chance to review this mighty little robot vacuum myself. With several cats, pet hair is a problem, meaning regular vacuuming. Find out if I got to take a vacation from vacuuming and how this vacuum stacks up in this review.
AOSO 2000Pa Robot Vacuum Overview
AOSO designed this robot vacuum to handle most anything you throw at it. Transitioning easily from carpet to hardwood floors? No problem. Small level differences between rooms? You’re covered.

It’s designed with a main roller and side brushes to provide a wider cleaning area, even in corners and along edges. Surprisingly, there was very little assembly out of the box. All I had to do was take off the protective pieces and screw on the side brushes. A tiny screw driver is even included.
The vacuum’s designed for simple daily cleaning in “real homes” as the manufacturer describes it. One of the main features the product description talks about is pet hair, though it picks up far more than that.
Powerful and Long Lasting Cleaning
Obviously, you want a robot vacuum that not only cleans well but that lasts long enough to clean your home. The 3200 mAh battery is designed to last up to 110 minutes. In my tests, I got around 90 minutes on the high suction setting. If you set it lower, it will likely last longer.

The 2000Pa suction pulls up both large and small debris off floors with ease. Choose between three modes: low, medium, and high. I chose high to grab more kitty litter and hair off the berber area rug near the litter box. The lower suction levels only cleaned up part of the litter, but high did a wonderful job.

A single pass along my rugs and hardwood floor left my floors looking as clean as if I used my standard vacuum. I honestly didn’t expect it to grab so much cat hair, but I was pleasantly surprised. If you have pets, let me be the first to recommend this for keeping the hair at bay.
As powerful as the clean is, it’s not a loud vacuum. The higher the suction, the louder it gets, but you can still hear the TV on the high setting.
Depending on the cleaning needs, you can choose from four modes: auto, manual, spot, and edge. Auto maps the area and cleans in a back and forth pattern. Spot is great for quick cleanups, and edge is ideal for taking care of the perimeter of a room. Manual also works well for quick spot cleanups.
Tackling Daily Cleaning
I tested the AOSO 2000Pa Robot Vacuum for about a week. During this time I put it to work with daily cleaning. I did run into a few small issues, but nothing I didn’t expect.

The main problem is rugs. If you have lightweight rugs that aren’t stuck down well, the vacuum does struggle a bit to get over them. During my tests, I had a few rugs that were constantly folded up as the vacuum tried to transition between the hardwood floor and the rug. I recommend using heavy rubber grips to hold down the corners of your rugs if you want to avoid this. I have a few rugs with these and didn’t have any issues with them.

The vacuum jumps easily between rooms, even if the transition between floors isn’t completely level. The wheels adjust, helping it climb over transitions around half an inch.
The low three-inch profile helps it glide easily under tables and furniture. It even slid smoothly under my china cabinet and baker’s rack. However, the camera detects obstacles and goes around them without getting stuck.

The most impressive feature is how well it cleans along edges and corners. The side brushes swing out, sweeping dirt and debris into the path of the main roller bar. It circles in corners to clean the entire area.

I was able to clean several rooms on a single charge. On the plus side, it charges fairly quickly, so you can get back to cleaning sooner.
Controlling the Vacuum

Controlling the vacuum couldn’t be easier. It comes with a remote that includes the cleaning modes, a vacuum locator button, and a return to charge button. You can also pause the current cleaning mode at any time to temporarily stop cleaning or switch to a new mode. You’ll need to pause before switching.
You can also download the free TuyaSmart app (iOS / Android) to control the vacuum via your smartphone and link it to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant devices. You don’t need the app if you just want to use the remote, though.

The app steps you through the process of connecting your vacuum. You will need a 2.4 Ghz network or the app and vacuum won’t pair. I tried a 5 Ghz just to see, but it definitely doesn’t work.
Once connected, you can control everything from the app or link to your desired voice assistant to control via your voice. You can even set cleaning schedules. The app isn’t perfect, though. In order to see the current battery levels, you have to exit the app and reopen it. Plus, it sometimes takes a few tries before it recognizes the vacuum.

The only real complaint I have about controlling the vacuum is you can’t program it to stay in a certain room or area.
Simple Vacuum Care

Between cats and my long hair, vacuum rollers don’t really love my house. They tend to clog up quickly and cleaning them is a pain. The AOSO 2000Pa Robot Vacuum is the easiest vacuum to clean I’ve ever worked with.
It comes with a small cleaning tool that looks a lot like a letter opener. This cuts hair off the brush in seconds. The cleaning tool also has bristles to clean the roller and filter.

The roller brush removes to make it easier to clean. Simply remove the plate, pull out the brush, and clean. The filter and filter cover also remove easily. I recommend lightly tapping the dirt off the filter cover between uses for better suction.

The vacuum’s easy to empty. I did notice the plastic flap that keeps dirt from falling back out will occasionally come off, but it’s slides back in place with no problems.
Final Thoughts

Vacuuming doesn’t seem like a chore anymore with the AOSO 2000Pa Robot Vacuum. While it’s not perfect, it’s the ideal cleaning companion for daily cleaning. It picks up pet hair with ease and cleans large areas (up to 1,400 sq. ft.) per charge.
The best part is you get powerful cleaning at an affordable price. You can pick up your own for just $249.99, then enjoy letting this vacuum keep your home clean, even when you’re busy doing something else.
