How to Prevent Google Play From Auto-adding Widgets to Your Android Homescreen

[Android] When you install an app from Google Play on your Android phone, it will automatically add the app to your homescreen. If you prefer to keep your homescreen clean and not cluttered with all the apps, here is the way to prevent Google Play from auto-adding widgets to your Android homescreen.

1. Open Google Play in your phone.

2. Go to “Settings”. Scroll down the list and you should see an option “Auto-add widgets”. Uncheck the box beside it.

That’s it. Google Play will not auto add the newly installed app to your homescreen now.
