  1. OK, so I’ve found my SID, now what?

What do I do with it? Why do I need to know this?

What is the point of this article?

    • Among other things, SIDs help admins to find which SID belongs to which user. Often times, finding the which user belongs to which SID helps admin find the leftover SIDs from previous Windows installations or when they remove a bunch of users. SIDs can also be used to quickly determine the user groups and special users.

      • I wonder if this information might have been useful in the article?

I doubt that I’m a huge exception among readers with single laptop with a single user so I’m wondering why I spent time reading the article.

Your reply opens with “Among other things”, I wonder why you are reticent to share the usefulness of your article?
