Amazon Prime Day 2020 Is October 13 and 14

Amazon Prime Day 2020 Featured

Amazon Prime Day may have been delayed this year because of the global health crisis, but it’s finally here. The wait was worth it for these great deals. You don’t have to wait for the actual dates, though, as there are plenty of deals available to you already.

What Is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day is an event created by Amazon, where you will find plenty of incredible deals and products with huge discounts. It used to be a 24-hour event but was extended to 48 hours last year. Other than the Black Friday sale, this is probably the biggest deal event Amazon hosts.

The official Prime Day dates are Tuesday, October 13 through Wednesday, October 14, with two full days of savings.

Prime Day deals, with a few rare exceptions, are available only to Amazon Prime members. A membership costs $12.99 per month or $119 if you go with the annual plan. A 30-day trial is offered, so you can sign up now and enjoy the Prime Day deals without any cost upfront. It’s left open for you to cancel before your trial ends.

Some of the benefits of a Prime subscription include access to Prime Video, free two-day shipping, unlimited music streaming, unlimited photo storage, unlimited reading, and free same-day delivery.

How to Identify Fake Deals?

While there are genuine deals on Prime Day that give you great savings, you should also be aware of fake deals that aren’t as great as they seem. Amazon won’t inform you of that, though. Luckily, you can make use of a price-comparison tool called CamelCamelCamel to verify the deal. Enter the Amazon product URL, and you can see the historical pricing trends of the product and make a decision on whether to wait or buy.
