Android users have been frustrated for some time without a good video-editing app, which can be argued is nearly a necessity. Sure, you can share the videos you record as is, but why spend the entire ten minutes when you can send just two or three minutes of the most pertinent content?

For that reason Adobe’s release of their video-editing app Premiere Rush on the Android platform could be welcome news. It includes intuitive editing, simplified color correction, audio cleanup powered by AI, and customizable Motion Graphics templates.

Adobe Premiere Rush Android Release

Adobe announced on Wednesday the release of Premiere Rush, “the first all-in-one cross-drive video-editing app,” to the Android platform. This allows users to capture, edit, and share videos to social media more easily and faster.

Creative individuals who have a long history with Adobe products will enjoy the features from Premiere Pro and Audition that are now included in the more simplified workflow of Premiere Rush.

It works with the same workflow across desktop and mobile systems. All projects and edits are synced to the cloud, allowing editing anywhere on any device. Previously it had only been available on Windows, macOS, and iOS.

A blog post described Premiere Rush as integrating “intuitive editing, simplified color correction, AI-power audio cleanup, customizable Motion Graphics templates, and publishing all into one easy-to-use solution that works seamlessly across desktop and mobile.”

Along with launching the app to Android, new Motion Graphics templates were made available as well. These join the hundreds that were already available in Adobe Stock.

Availability

The Android version of Premiere Rush is available in the Google Play Store and Samsung Galaxy Store. The Premiere Rush Starter Plan is available for free allowing users “access to all Premiere Rush features, use of desktop and mobile apps, and the ability to create an unlimited number of projects and export up to three projects.”

Those who need a little more will find various pricing. Android users will pay $9.99/month for individuals, $19.99/month for teams, and $29.99/month tor enterprise customers.

Additionally, the app is included as a part of Created Cloud All Apps, Premiere Pro single app, and the Student plan.
