Recently we showed you how you can get the instant FIFA World Cup 2014 updates on your Android device. While it let you track the updates, it could not be used to know what teams are playing matches and when. Having a full schedule of the FIFA World Cup is handy as it will help you keep track of your favorite matches and allow you to plan your own schedule.
There is now a way to add the full schedule of the FIFA World Cup 2014 to your Google Calendar. This way, you will have all the details about the matches right in your calendar hosted by Google. Here’s how you can do that:
Adding FIFA Schedule to Google Calendar
You must have a Google account, and it is recommended that you log in to your account before following the guide below.
1. Head over to the Google Calendar website. Log in to your account, if you have not already.
2. On the left-hand side of the site, you will see a section labeled as “Other calendars.” Click on the arrow next to it, and it should pop up a menu in front of you. Click on the option that says “Add by URL.”
3. It will then ask you to enter the URL from where you want to add a calendar. Type in following calendar address into the box and hit “Add Calendar”.
4. You should now see a new calendar appearing in your “Other calendars” section. Just click on “World Cup 2014,” and the calendar will be displayed on your screen.
